MPCALA Holdings, CALAX's concessionaire, needed to relieve chronic congestion along Aguinaldo Highway, Governor's Drive, and Santa Rosa–Tagaytay Road, arteries strained by the growth of Laguna and Cavite's industrial and residential centers. Entrusted with the Laguna Segment, DMCI delivered the fastest path to impact: an 18-kilometer stretch linking directly to SLEX's Mamplasan Exit, allowing the client to generate motorist relief and concession revenue years ahead of the more right-of-way-constrained Cavite side. DMCI's execution enabled MPCALA's broader vision of catalyzing regional growth, unlocking faster movement of people and goods that would draw further investment into the industrial parks and communities along the corridor.

Maynilad Water Services, Inc. operates the Putatan Water Treatment Plants in Brgy. Putatan, Muntinlupa City, which utilize Laguna de Bay as raw water source. To address the increasing water demand in Metro Manila, Maynilad developed the Design and Build of 150 MLD Laguna Lake Water Treatment Plant augmenting the existing Putatan WTPs and ensure sustainability of potable water supply in West Concessionaire of Metro Manila.
