Concrete Products
DMCI’s foundations rooted from its expertise on cement and cement products. Our founder, Engr. David M. Consunji has long worked in cement products even before he founded the company. However, its formal establishment as a working business unit was in 1988. DMCI was the first to develop 42 Mpa or 6000 psi High-Strength Concrete in the Philippines in 1990 and developed and utilized “retarded mortar” in 1998. It was also the first company in the country to make use of flyask and S-1 manufactured sand in concrete production. It had also earlier on used pre-cast, pre-stressed and high-strength ready mixed concrete. To date, DMCI is one of the companies who proactively look for innovative ways in using cement and cement products in construction.
